Life has defintely been made a lot easier, digitially.
Throughout this semester I have learned a lot of ways to digitally create, upload, and share information with others that I create. And, the best part about all of this, it’s virtually FREE! Below is a list of the places that my class has used to create some of the content you see on this blog.
Blogger- easy to upload images, video, and audio from other places here
WordPress- more sophisticated verison (in my opinion) to create a blog
Gcast- podcasting made easy!
Flickr- best place to upload and even edit your photographs
YouTube- best place to upload & watch videos. I’m an addict, I’ll admit it.
Slide- great place to “animate” your pictures
Besides this class, other places that I frequent are:
Facebook- the anti-homework but a lot of great applications and a new “chat” feature that has every college student facing major problems during finals
MySpace- nice way to truly show off your personal style and flair
Google- this is like an autopilot search for me
Imeem- satisfies most of my music needs
Temple/TUmail/Blackboard- it’s my university and every morning I religiously check my mail
WSJ- mandatory subscription for class was worth it, I don’t know where else I’d get my news.
Other than those websites my hardware that connect me are:
MacBook–I got one last summer and it’s been one of the best purchases I’ve ever made
Motorola Q- I got it at the end of 2007 and it’s my first smart phone. I love the camera on it.
My favorite by far has to be my iPod. I think I’d be numb without it, and I hope to upgrade it soon.
I recently got this digital camera & I love it. It’s slim and it has a lot of great features that capture great pictures. It’s actually made me more excited about taking pictures

All in all, my digital life isn’t to extensive but it is essential!
